love for God through worship as we sing, pray, and give. We greet each other to
demonstrate our love for one another in community. We go in the power
and with the grace of God to love the world.

This Week at AFCN

We are blessed to be able each week to
come into the presence of the Living Christ and to worship Him with our lips
and through our lives. You are encouraged to breathe a prayer for this time
that our hearts would be moved in song, through the Word and with praise
to the One who offers us life and hope.

WEDNESDAY
New Community Ministries meet on Wednesdays! There are activities for each
age group, toddlers through adults with a nursery that is staffed with caring and qualified
individuals.
Join at 7:00pm for an evening of discovery, fellowship, and blessing.This week we continue
our study of the book of Acts by taking a look at the 19th chapter. “How a Great Church Goes Bad:
Abandoned Love.” You are encouraged to join us each week for Bible study and spiritual development.
These times are full of inspiration, instruction and interaction.
FRIDAY PRAYER
Prayer time Friday from 6:00 – 9:00am at the sanctuary altars.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
BACK-TO-CHURCH SUNDAY, September 12 School is now in
session and it is time to get back in the consistent habit of weekly corporate worship! We
are planning a BIG DAY and want to encourage you to not only be present yourself, but to
invite friends, family, neighbors, classmates, fellow workers, and those you meet to be your
guest at this “Back-to-Church” event.
ALABASTER OFFERING will be received on Sunday, September 19. These funds
are used to assist in the purchase of land on the mission field as well as help in construction of churches,
clinics, and homes for those on the mission field.We can all do something to express our love for our Lord.
FALL REVIVAL, October 10-13 with Evangelist Bob Flint and Alive.
Begin now to pray for a sweeping move of the Spirit of God on our lives and in the church.
THANK YOU has been received from the Community Hospice Center for the snacks that are used
to assist families in their time of need. This ministry is vital to connect with people
who need to know they are cared for in a difficult period of transition.
First Annual 5K Run/Walk “Run to the Ends of the Earth” hosted
by AFCN to raise awareness and funds for missions and projects overseas. The date is Saturday,
November 6 and volunteers and sponsors are needed. See Leslie Hereford for information and
to get involved.
